Online Arabic Language Course (Pilot Project)

Arabic language learning was halted or suspended in many Arab associations in Berlin during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We organized an online course during the summer break as a pilot project.

Project Objectives:

To support Arabic language learning
To organize daily life during the summer vacation
To promote online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic

Five children aged 9-12 participated in the project. A Syrian teacher volunteered to conduct the program.

The teacher selected texts to reinforce reading comprehension and grammar (vocabulary and syntax: verbs and nouns).

Over the course of a week, from July 13th to 17th, the children participated via Skype.

The children received gifts at the end of the project.
